So Who Am I Again ?
Carl Faulkner - Club Chairman

The Movie Makers were out in force in the Glorious October Sunshine this weekend to shoot a story about the end of the world - all within the day of rest for most!

As most people would of woke up late, had a cheeky lie in, tucked into a full english & watched Sunday Brunch in bed the Movie Makers were out on set at 8am capturing shots for this ambitious film.

The film follows the story of two people desperate to leave planet earth and its impending doom. With a new planet ‘ Earth 2 ‘ being found for mankind are they able to join the chosen few on the new planet.

Behind the Scenes with RMM for ‘ Final Hours ‘

With plenty of members getting in on the fun and helping with lighting, sound, camera and even taking on a small role or two to help the film be completed. Stunning performances from the wonderful Poppy Olah & RMM’s own Stuart Alexander Rees made the film process a doodle! Using some gorgeous locations from around the Rochdale area we show that ‘ It aint bad up north ‘ - Film is already in the edit being prepared for some upcoming film festivals!

Heres a sneaky Peek to show you what the films all about!

October Meeting

We met on the 2nd of October and did a practical challenge set around monologues. We invited two actresses along to the meeting who acted small monologues.

Split into three teams we only had 12minutes per team to shoot our monologue and cutaways. Working against the clock to set the lighting, direct the actor and shoot the piece.

With every group working as hard and fast as they could 5 mini films were shot at a high standard.

Well done everyone! Heres a little sneaky peak of a couple of the films shot!
